GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

CHECK‑IN & CHECK‑OUT
Check‑in: from 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM (arrival after 9:30 PM is not guaranteed unless previously arranged).
Check‑out: by 10:00 AM.
Late departure beyond the scheduled check‑out time will incur an additional night charge. Minimum stay periods and changeover days as indicated in the rate sheet and on the website apply to all rooms/beds.

RATE INCLUDES
The daily rate covers the cost per night for the room or bed and breakfast. Tourist tax (EUR 1.50 per person per night for guests over 12 years) and bathroom linen are not included.

BOOKING CONDITIONS
Bookings are accepted only for stays of duration equal to or exceeding the minimum stay as shown on the rate sheet and website. The booking becomes binding only after payment of the deposit requested by Management or submission of a credit card number as guarantee, followed by written confirmation. The booking may not be transferred to third parties without the authorization of Management. In case of delayed arrival or early departure, all booked nights must still be fully paid.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Standard bookings may be canceled or modified free of charge only if changes are communicated at least 3 days before arrival and subject to availability (the 72‑hour period is counted from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival). Cancellation/modification must be made in writing. If cancellation is not made within the deadline, the full booking amount will be charged. Non‑refundable bookings cannot be canceled or modified, and the full amount is due at confirmation. In case of no‑show on the day of arrival, unless otherwise communicated in writing, the room or bed will be released the following day and considered a no‑show.

PAYMENTS
The balance of stay must be paid upon guest arrival. Payment can be made in cash (within legally allowed limits) or by VISA, MasterCard, CartaSì, American Express, Bancomat. The tourist tax must be paid upon arrival either in cash or by the above credit/debit cards.

Confirmation of the booking implies acceptance of these General Terms & Conditions.


REGULATIONS

ACCESS & ACCEPTANCE
Anyone wishing to access the hostel must have authorization from Management.
Guests must present a valid identity document. Under Italian regulation, ONLY national ID card, passport, or driver’s license are acceptable; for EU countries, ONLY national ID or passport; for non‑EU countries, ONLY passport. Copies of identity documents are accepted only in the case of loss/theft, and must be accompanied by a police report filed at the Carabinieri station. Without valid documents, accommodation at the hostel will be denied, and non‑show penalties will apply. Residence permit cards or permits are not permitted.
Unauthorized presence in the hostel constitutes:

  • violation of Public Safety Regulations

  • violation of art. 614 C.P. (criminal trespass)

  • violation of art. 633 C.P. (invasion of land or property)

  • violation of art. 624 C.P. (theft of services)

  • contractual fraud
    Guests must verify upon arrival the accuracy of their registrations, report any discrepancy to Management, and notify in advance any changes such as the arrival or departure of additional persons.
    At check‑in a magnetic key will be provided. Loss or damage of the key incurs a EUR 5 penalty.

PROHIBITIONS

  • Occupying a bed other than the one assigned at check‑in (penalty applies)

  • Bringing pets into shared dormitories
  • Reservation in dormitories for minors under 18. 
  • Bringing bicycles or scooters into guest rooms

  • Disposing of waste outside designated bins

  • Eating or drinking (other than water) in rooms

  • Using loudspeakers or audio systems that disturb others

  • Sleeping in common areas or on terraces

  • Smoking inside the hostel or on balconies

  • Bringing in outside alcoholic beverages

  • Damaging vegetation
    Important: Bicycles and scooters must not be kept in rooms. Bicycles must be parked in the exterior garden at the rear, where a rack is provided. The hostel does not have an indoor bike storage.

MINORS
Unaccompanied minors (< 18 years) are not permitted. Minors must be accompanied and share a room with their legal guardian or parent, who is responsible for ensuring adherence to hostel rules. Adults are also responsible for their children; their behavior must not jeopardize the peace, safety, or hygiene of other guests.

DEPOSIT
For groups, a security deposit (in cash) may be required from group members to cover potential damages to accommodation or furnishings.

VISITORS
Management reserves the right to allow day visitors or guests of short duration, free of charge, subject to operational constraints. Any extension of stay must be authorized by Management and paid according to the price list. Hostel guests must ensure their visitors have management authorization and are responsible for their conduct.

QUIET HOURS / RESPECT
To ensure a pleasant environment and respect for neighborhood residents, guests are asked to avoid noise between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Guests must behave considerately—no loud music, no eating or drinking in rooms, no alcohol in rooms, and maintain personal hygiene.
We kindly suggest that guests with chronic sleep disorders (e.g. severe snoring, sleepwalking) opt for a private room to avoid disturbing roommates. If disturbances lead to repeated complaints, Management reserves the right to request removal from the hostel or refuse further stay extensions.

PET FRIENDLY
Small to medium pets are welcome only in private rooms. Animals must never be left alone in rooms or common areas.

WASTE SEPARATION
The hostel encourages waste separation. Guests must use the provided bins correctly. Waste must be sorted and disposed of properly during the stay.

LOST & FOUND
Items found within the hostel must be handed over to Management in compliance with legal obligations.

LIABILITY
Management is not responsible for:

  • theft of valuables not deposited or accepted in custody

  • damages caused by other guests, force majeure, natural disasters, insects, illnesses (including plants), falling tree branches or fruits

DEPARTURE
Guests are kindly asked at check‑out to:

  • remove bed linen (sheet, pillowcase, and towel) and place them in the baskets provided; leave them on the bed with the fitted sheet still on; failure to do so may incur a penalty

  • not remove towels from the premises

  • return keys to reception

If the guest does not vacate the room by 10:00 AM on the departure day, an extra night will be charged. Management reserves the right to inspect the room condition and charge for any damage or breakages.

Management reserves the right to expel those who violate the regulations or disrupt the spirit and harmony of the hostel. Expelled guests are not entitled to refunds of amounts already paid and may not re‑enter without explicit authorization from Management.

Check‑in: 3:00 PM – 9:30 PM (up to 11:30 PM by prior notice)
Check‑out: by 10:00 AM
Bar: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM & 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Guest kitchen (NOT accessible to groups): 7:30 AM – 10:30 PM

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
For security reasons, common areas of the hostel are monitored by CCTV.

Entering the hostel implies acceptance and full compliance with this regulation, which may be supplemented with additional rules deemed appropriate by Management for improved operation.
